A little Je ne sais quoi is everything

Our newest collection is dedicated to one of the most enduring fashion icons of possibly the last century, the oh-so-effortless, quintessentially French-to-her-bones, Jane Birkin. The apparel collection is primarily dresses, skirts and casual blouses. None of the pieces are trying too hard, but even so, they combine elegantly to create a seamless blend of Birkin: the classics mixed in with a bit of modern flair.

Imagine yourself sipping an iced café au lait and people watching at a Parisian café, soaking in the heat wave. You're the picture of summer. Your bangs fall naturally in place, you're in our best-selling white bodysuit that fabulously flatters your shoulders and our floral pleated skirt, every day flats, and maybe a silk scarf tied loosely around your ponytail. Secretly we call it the “dressing up to get overpriced lattes” look.

When it's as hot as it is now, few things are as inviting as a breezy full-length skirt. They can be styled in a myriad ways: with a button-down, a cropped t-shirt, a bandeau, a bodysuit, a cotton-linen blouse. Our high-waisted pleated collection comes in prints and solids with a super subtle, very stylish asymmetric cut. There's also a cotton cutwork skirt in two lovely colors that's tiered and extra summery.

But the winner for us, now and forever is going to be the summer day dress. Few things hit the spot like a lightweight, non-see-through dress you can gallivant around town in without a care in the world. Pair it with some plain flats and a canvas bag and you're Pinterest-ready.

It's not all plains and solids this time though. We've also got a fantastic rhinestone embellished collection of shoes in this drop with sandals and pretty bling summer slides that have arguably one of the comfiest soles we've ever made.

Versatility in basic wear is at the heart of our design. For us, good wardrobes are about functionality, allowing you to mix and style pieces easily while staying comfortable and true to yourself, without thinking too hard about opinions or the 'rules' of self-expression.

That, we think, is the key to the irresistible "Je Ne Sais Quoi."
